A free medical clinic in Cambria County announced its yearly summer fundraising concert Friday morning.
Officials said for nearly 30 years, Highlands Health Clinic in Johnstown has held an annual fundraising concert for patients in need.
This year’s concert will be on August 24th.
Officials said audiences can expect to see multiple performers, including American Idol contestant Carly Moffa and Lawrence the Band.
They said the goal is to raise $50,000 for community members that don’t have insurance.
Highlands Health Clinic Executive Director Rosalie Danchanko said, “That is extremely important for us, to be able to hold this concert, because so many of our residents are uninsured or underinsured and need the support of the clinic to be okay.”
