UPDATE | Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Johnstown police confirmed to 6 News that a woman was taken into custody on Saturday following the stabbing incident at the Minersville PNA. Authorities say the woman reportedly stabbed a male victim, who was transported to Conemaugh Hospital where he underwent surgery Saturday. Officials have not provided an update on his condition and the identity of the woman has not yet been released. Suspect in fatal Shade Twp shooting claims self-defense

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — **2nd UPDATE** Authorities in Somerset County are providing new details about Friday's fatal shooting at a residence along Charles Street in Shade Township. According to the affidavit, investigators say just before 11 a.m. Friday, state police received a 911 call from the alleged suspect, 67-year-old Gregory Mostoller. Police say Mostoller reportedly told authorities "a guy came at me with a wrench, and I killed him."

Coroner IDs body found at Clearfield Co. park

UPDATE | Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has released the identity of the individual whose body was found at a local park earlier this week. The coroner's office says the body of 40-year-old Edward Schmidt was found Tuesday afternoon at Woodland Park. An autopsy is being conducted Thursday but authorities believe that Schmidt died as a result of a drug overdose. Shaffer-Snyder says Schmidt's official cause of death is pending the results of the autopsy and a toxicology report.
