Johnstown native Heinze honored by Penguins following retirement as Equipment Manager
PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — Johnstown native Dana Heinze was honored Saturday night by the Pittsburgh Penguins for his 33 years of service to hockey, the past 16 as the team's Equipment Manager.
Heinze was introduced with a tribute video prior to their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning as well as gifts from the team, including a painting commemorating his career and a trip to Florida which includes an opportunity to work as an honorary equipment manager for his favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WPEC) — A Florida woman who was accused of defrauding people out of millions under the guise of her swimming pool company was found guilty, according to court officials. Indian River County court officials said Chrystal Washburn, the co-owner of Amoré Pools, was found guilty last week on 14 counts. The charges include one count of being guilty of an organized scheme to defraud, fraudulent use of personal identification, money laundering, and omitting or concealing information to avoid workers' compensation premium.
Western PA man pleads to homicide in 2019 shooting outside stadium
GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A man has pleaded guilty to homicide in a shooting death outside a western Pennsylvania stadium during the closing minutes of a high school football game more than 2 1/2 year ago.
Court records indicate that a guilty plea was recorded Tuesday for Greg Harper, 43, of Jeannette to a charge of third-degree murder in Westmoreland County Court. Counts of first-degree murder and reckless endangering were dismissed.
investigation underway after shooting at Lehigh County Waffle House
One person is injured after a shooting at a Waffle House in Hanover Township, Lehigh County Sunday morning, state police say.
According to a press release, state police were dispatched to the Waffle House on Airport Road at approximately 3:00 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
State police say that they observed a gunshot victim on scene and provided medical care.
The press release states that the victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital and treated for his injuries.

Punxsutawney man charged with rape and supplying alcohol to a minor in Clearfield County
Authorities say a Punxsutawney man has been charged after he allegedly raped a girl in Clearfield County early last month.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, 22-year-old Hunter Vroman, of Park Avenue, reportedly supplied alcohol to a 15-year-old girl on June 1 at a residence along South 3rd Street in Clearfield Borough.
Vroman is accused of then sexually assaulting the girl.
After the incident, according to the affidavit, bruises were seen on the girl’s body.
