Thousands gather at Altoona-Blair County Airport for President Trump's rally
MARTINSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — President Donald Trump visited Martinsburg Monday as part of his "Make America Great Again" victory rallies to make one last push for voters to put him back in the Oval Office for the next four years.
The rally was held at the Altoona-Blair County Airport and thousands of people were there to see the president.
Blair County was one of the last few stops for President Trump as we head into the final stretch toward Election Day.
Two juveniles, one adult charged following Cresson Twp. shots fired investigation
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities with the Cresson Township police department, in Cambria County, say three individuals have been charged in connection to a shots fired incident last month.
Police say during the early morning hours of Feb. 10, officers received reports of an alleged "shooting" in a wooded area near Boland Drive and Route 22.
Authorities say the 911 caller also claimed to have been assaulted by several individuals, at which time the shots reportedly rang out.
West Suburban Little League cleaning fields, preparing to get back to practice next week
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — With the weather warming up and counties beginning to reopen again, kids are itching to get back to playing their favorite sports and activities.
West Suburban Little League spent Saturday morning getting their fields prepped and ready to go for their players. The league says they will begin practices when Cambria County enters the green phase next week.
Players and coaches of the West Suburban Little League have been anxiously awaiting the day they can get their season started.
Clowns compete for chuckles and trophies at 1977 Clown-O-Rama in Altoona
BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — This week’s look back into our archives takes us to a "circus-like event" full of clowning around.
It’s February 1977 and our news crew is at the Jaffa Mosque in Altoona where clowns are performing for judges.
We got help from the current Jaffa Calliope Clowns to explain.
They tell us it’s called the Clown-O-Rama.
It’s an annual competition among Shriner clowns in the mid-Atlantic states.
Penn State IFC President, other board members step down
UNIVERSITY PARK -- Alex Frederick, the former president of the Interfraternity Council at Penn State University, has stepped down, along with other executive officers from the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, after the death of Penn State student Timothy Piazza.

Philadelphia SWAT officer shot, killed while serving warrant on homicide suspect
PHILADELPHIA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Philadelphia officer was shot and killed while serving a warrant on a suspect wanted for homicide.
City police say 46-year-old Cpl. James O’Connor was serving the warrant early Friday morning at a home along Bridge Street when someone opened fire through a closed door on the second floor.
According to NBC affiliate WCAU, O'Connor was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died. WCAU reports another SWAT officer returned fire, striking two people.

Walgreens joins big-box price cuts with over 1,300 items discounted this summer
Walgreens announced Wednesday it would be slashing prices on over 1,300 products as part of their "Summer of Savings." The company joined several big-box retailers taking the same initiative to try and boost sales amid increasing inflation. Estranged husband of Florida woman missing in Spain arrested 3 months after disappearance
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (TND) — The estranged husband of a woman who was reported missing in Spain three months ago has been arrested and charged by U.S. federal agents. Ana Maria Knezevich, 40, went missing in Madrid on Friday, Feb. 2, according to Spain'sNational Center for Missing Persons website. David Knezevich, a 36-year-old business owner originally from Serbia, briefly appeared in Miami federal court Monday and will have a bond hearing Friday.
