Second man pleads guilty in federal firearms trafficking case in Blair Co.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Federal authorities say a second man has pleaded guilty to charges related to illegal firearms sales and trafficking in Blair County. According to court documents, Craig Zahradnik pleaded guilty to seven counts related to the possession, manufacturing and trafficking of illegal firearms, including "ghost guns." Zahrdnik was one of three Blair County men charged earlier this year following an ATF investigation into the alleged crimes.

According to police, 57-year-old Charles Gibson Jr. is suspected of robbing banks in Maryland in mid-December. Local trolley museum to host Santa's Trolley Rides event

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. — Starting Saturday, the Rockhill Trolley Museum will be hosting their annual Santa’s Trolley Rides, from 10 am to 3 pm. Visitors will board one of three trolleys and kids will get to meet Santa. A new event that they will be running is the ‘Lights, Cameras, Christmas Trolleys’ event, from 5 pm until 9 pm, during which photographers of all skill levels will be able to photograph the trolleys, and have their pictures taken with the Candyland area, while they’re lit up for the season.

Man stabbed other man in neck after setting items on fire inside Bellefonte apartment building

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Bellefonte Borough Police Department say a Centre County man is facing attempted homicide charges after he reportedly stabbed another man in the neck Monday night inside a Bellefonte apartment building. Police say officers were dispatched to the building, located along the 100 block of West High Street, after 911 dispatchers took a call from a woman who was "screaming" that someone had been stabbed.

Northern Cambria man accused of stalking woman, groping her at local grocery store

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Northern Cambria Borough Police Department say a man is facing charges after he was accused of groping a woman at a local Giant Eagle store while she was working. According to the affidavit, police say 65-year-old Timothy Depetro allegedly entered an "employee only" area of the store and inappropriately touched the woman while she was standing on a ladder. Police say the woman stated that she reported the incident to the store's manager.

One person injured after tractor-trailer crashes into St Marys metal company building

UPDATE | Elk County, PA (WJAC) — Elk County 911 officials confirmed that one person was injured Wednesday afternoon when a tractor-trailer crashed into the Keystone Powdered Metal Company building, located along Route 120, in Saint Marys. Officials say crews were dispatched to the crash just after 1 p.m., which prompted the roadway to be temporarily shut down. According to PennDOT's 511PA alert page, Route 120 has since been reopened, however, there are still lane restrictions in place as some crews remain on scene.

'Giving us the run around:' Clearfield Co. nursing home accused of not paying employees

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Healthcare workers at one Clearfield County nursing home claim that they haven't been getting paid. Some employees at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center reached out to 6 News for answers. We stopped by the facility on Thursday and spoke with one of the workers, Paul Weimer, who is employed as a dietary aid. Weimer says the situation started in January when workers were paid five days late.

DuBois man facing charges in overdose death of 27-year-old woman

DUBOIS, Pa (WJAC) — Police in Clearfield County say a DuBois man is facing charges in connection to the overdose death of a 27-year-old woman, according to a criminal complaint. Patrick O'Brien, 37, faces charges of drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in relation to the incident that occurred in March, according to court documents. The complaint states that on March 28th, around 10 p.m., Sandy Township police were dispatched to a home along Carson Avenue after O'Brien called and reported that the woman was not breathing.
